!!!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Hi and welcome to my Daily Diary. Here is where we will be posting interesting things that we have been doing and also cool pictures of the places that we have been.

January February March April May June July August September October November December
- We celebrated New Years with a wonderful hot dog and sauerkraut lunch and
then enjoyed snacks later on. It was a nice quiet day. We watched the Rose
Bowl Parade on HGTV. It was the best. No commercial interruptions. It was
the same as last year and I hope that they do it again every year. We
are thankful for the blessed 2003 that God bestowed on us and we ask for His
blessing for 2004.
- We are busy with Praise Team Practice, Trustee Meetings, and the Church Business
Meeting for the first half of the month.
- I am continuing my job search, sending out resumes and talking with
prospective employers. I look forward to my next job and I will praise God
from whom all of my blessing flow.
- Karen is getting ready to celebrate her anniversary at work in February.
She really enjoys her work and the kids. I thank God everyday for putting
her into a job that is so rewarding for her.
- I have been to several interviews and I am asking for prayers for both Karen
and I as we seek God's Will in our new job situations.
- We are making plans for Swatara again. It should be a wonderful time with
renewal of our minds, bodies, and spirits.
- We tried out a new restaurant in Howell, Johnny
Carino's. The food was ok, but the parking is very lacking. We have
spoken to the management and they are going to work to put in more handicap
spaces. We will try them again sometime and see if things have improved.

We had a wonderful time at Camp
Swatara again this year. We journeyed out on Friday night and stayed
through Sunday lunch. The drive out went very well. We made the trip in a
bit less than 3 hours. It was a cold weekend with lots of snow on the
ground We were able to have a nice time of Christian
Fellowship, Bible Study, and FUN!!! Click HERE
for the pictures from the weekend.
-
The super bowl was pretty boring. The commercials were good.
That is becoming the best part of the super bowl. It was a defense game
until the defense got tired. I still wish that Carolina Panthers had won,
but then the game ended up a lot closer than anyone would have thought.
-
I am still going to interviews. The pace seems to be picking
up, so I pray that the job that God has for me will opening up very soon. In
the mean time, I will wait upon the Lord.
-
Karen will celebrate her anniversary on February 3. It will
mark one year at Children's World.
-
We went to see '50 First Dates' on Valentine's Day. It was a
very romantic movie and was really well done. Karen cooked me a delicious
dinner with my help. It was a wonderful Valentine's Weekend that we shared
together.
-
We have tickets for the Concert under the stars at the OCC
Planetarium. It should be a wonderful time and we are looking forward to it.

-
We have joined the Circle of Servants at Amwell. In the
coming months C.O.S. will define what it is that we are doing at Amwell and
then seek to use our gifts in the service of the Lord.
-
We enjoyed the Good Friday and Easter Sunrise Services at
Amwell.
-
It is the anniversary of Mom's moving to Heaven. Karen and I
still miss her, but we know that she is walking the streets of gold with
Jesus and that we will see her again.
-
Had some phone interviews for job. I am seeing an increase
in the job ads. Maybe that means the economy is picking up and companies
will be hiring again real soon. In the meantime I am waiting for the Lord.
-
We finished planning for the Women's Banquet, did the
shopping and dropped off the supplies. The dinner should be a wonderful
meal.

The dinner was a great success. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
The food was delicious. The cooking went pretty well, except for the puff
pastry that just did not want to roll out for Karen. She was able to work
around the pastry and the final product was delicious. We feed about 49
women and about 9 or ten helpers. My thanks go to Karen for being the best
helpmeet a man could ever ask for in his life. We are looking forward to
next year's meal.
-
The Women of the Year at Amwell was announced after the
dinner. It is my proud pleasure to say that Karen was given that honor for
her work at church and using the gifts that God has blessed her with in so
many ways.
-
We are now working on the next newsletter and helping with
the VBS for 2004. I have the online registration active so that people can
start signing up online. We are also working to get the flyer written so
that the letters can be mailed out to last year's participants.
-
We are planning a road trip to Cap May to have lunch at the Lobster
House. It was featured on Food TV a few weeks ago and looked really
nice. We are so looking forward to it.
-
We saw Van Helsing
on opening weekend. It was a fun movie with some really great special
effects. We are looking forward to the summer movie lineup.

-
We are so looking forward to summer. The chance to Grill and
enjoy the great outdoors. We purchased on QVC Nathan's 10 inch hot dogs like
they have at Yankee Stadium. They are delicious. We enjoyed them over the
Memorial day weekend.
-
Movies are a little light so far. We really enjoyed the
latest Harry Potter, but not to much looks very interesting until maybe
Spiderman 2 comes out.
-
Tent Revival was a great success. Click here
to see pictures and video of our time of revival under the tent.
-
We had a nice quiet Father's Day weekend. Karen made me a
delicious meal (Tuna Noodle Casserole) since Trouble is not allowed on the
counters in the kitchen :)
-
I had an interview in Mr. Laurel at Commerce Bank. It seems
like a really nice place and they are doing very interesting work. I am
keeping in touch and will wait and see how this works out.
-
I had Eggy washed and waxed, 4 new tires, and rear shocks.
Eggy is riding nice and smooth now. The old tires were about bald so it was
a good time to replace them. The tires are really nice. They have those new
aqua channels to force water down and out the sides so that the traction is
not compromised. I had Eggy out after a small shower and the tires did seem
to hug the road better than before.
-
As part of the Revival Tent Meetings that we attended, I
video tapped them and then converted them to real audio for display on the
website. I am going to make the original video available on CD for the
Pastors that preached. We were sorry to have missed Thursday's meeting, but
we had a long day and did not have to energy to drive the 120+ miles round
trip safely.
-
I am still job hunting and doing some consulting work. I ask
for your prayers that God will open the door He has for me soon.
-
I also want to take this time to thank all of the friends
and family that have been keeping us in their prayers. The prayers are
greatly appreciated.

July
-
We enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July. We are enjoying our QVC
Hot Dogs.
-
I have great news. I have a 3 month contract with Telcordia
in Piscataway. I start on the 26th. It is about an hour from home, but the
commute is well worth it. The Lord's timing was in all things. I had the
phone interview on Monday, a face to face on Thursday, and I had word from
the recruiter that they were offering me the job at little after 5 PM on
Friday. Our thanks go out to all of you who have been keeping us in your
prayers.
